before you say lrm's are no skill, there's no middle ground with them. Either you're pulling your hair out because the other team is packed with ecm and yours doesn't have any counters and its a map that has natural lrm counters, or you're raking in mad credits from drilling idiots in the face on wide open maps. Of course given that most players don't even know what an ecm is, the latter happens more often than the former and it gives the impression of op. In fact the only reliable defense against lrm's is if you yourself run something with ecm and stay out of los from the missile boat trying to tag you until you're within 180 meters.
but irregardless, lrm's are the most game breaking weapon when used in a boat fashion because the majority of pubs don't know what they're doing, which ultimately means you'll be outnumbered quickly and your skill negated due to a massive damage/hitpoint difference.
